                                                                                        Half Day Waterfall

This is one of the most exciting excursions is the trip to explore 7 famous waterfalls. This national park is situated only half hour from Puerto Plata and consists of the winding river Damajagua, making its way down the mountain forming 27 awesome waterfalls with natural slides and amazing cliffs. This all-natural water park has been turned into a major attraction especially for young people who like to get to the waterfalls. Swim across the first pool and start making your way up the rocks. You will be swimming through narrow gorges of crystal-clear mountain spring water, jumping and sliding into the pools of water formed in between the limestone cliffs. 

You will be provided with life vests and helmets, and we advise you to wear sturdy outdoor shoes or water shoes and not to bring anything that cannot get wet. Children below the age of 8 can only climb the first waterfall.

Puerto Plata is the capital of the north coast of the island and was founded by Columbus on his second voyage. It is worth a visit to see the many historical landmarks such as the old fort; built to resist attacks from English and Dutch pirates and it is one of the first ones in America. You will see precious old amber with tiny insects caught inside the stone at the Amber Museum and get a taste of rum at the Brugal Rum factory. A walk through the old historical center showcases many houses built in the Victorian and Colonial style and also the main Cathedral and the city square with a typical Victorian gazebo.

When you combine the Puerto Plata Tour with the Cable car, you get to visit the cable car which is one of the most popular attractions. 

The mountain Isabel de Torres towers over the city with its peak at an altitude of 2,555 feet above sea level. This gives visitors a breathtaking view of the city laid out below. Also, visitors can enjoy a beautifully landscaped botanical garden and a copy of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro of Jesus Christ the Redeemer.

You will ride in an air-conditioned van until you board the yacht in the village of La Isabela. The yacht will start off with a scenic cruise along the coast. We will stop for a swim in a natural swimming pool in middle of the ocean with lots of starfish on the bottom. The crew will put a floating bar and floaters for you in the water and pamper you with champagne, appetizers and top shelf drinks. Lunch is served at the beach club on the mainland. After lunch you spend the rest of the day snorkeling, sunbathing and relaxing. You finish the day with a cruise through the river and the mangroves.

                                                                                          Deep Sea Fishing

​

Deep sea fishing is very challenging and exciting to catch one of the big fish, such as Marlin, Blue and White, barracuda, tuna, dolphin fish, mahi mahi, wahoo, and which is catch and release. The captain uses a fish finder to look for schools of fish, while the staff prepares the fishing rods with the bait and hang them over the side of the boat. In the meantime, the captain keeps the boat trawling until a fish bites. When a fish bites, one of you get to try to reel it in. What's included in this tour is beer, rum, soft drinks, water, and fruit.
